General Questions

“HOW DO I BUY AN ITEM FROM YOUR WEBSITE”

This website serves as a catalogue, or ‘shop window’ to our shop over on Etsy.com so that non-Etsy users can discover and view our vintage products. To buy any vintage item click the ‘buy on Etsy’ button on the product page and a new window will open where you can add the item to your cart within Etsy, and don’t worry, you don’t need an Etsy account to buy, you can checkout as a guest.
For any items from our new Retro & Repro section, press add to cart on the product page. Once you are finished shopping click the shopping bag icon in the top right corner of the page (or bottom if you are on mobile) and you will be directed to checkout.


“What payment methods do you accept?”

For vintage items purchased from us via Etsy we accept PayPal, Debit and Credit cards, ApplePay, Google Pay, American Express and more.
Whereas for our Retro & Repro items, at present we only accept PayPal. You must have a PayPal account to purchase from within this website. The upside is you don’t have to type your card details into our website, so its very safe.


“Do I have to have an account to view your products?”

No. All of our products are available online for everyone to see or buy, you can checkout of our Etsy store as a guest. If you follow us on instragram you may be notified about new items before they become live on the website.


Questions about products

“Where do I find measurements of your items, especially for bags, so I can tell how much stuff you would fit in there?”

There is a size and fit section below the product description on each product page. Here you will find measurements and fit information or dimensions. For more information please see our size guide. If you find a product page with the size details missing please let us know and we will update the page as soon as possible.


“I saw something on your site but now it’s out of stock. Will you be getting any more?”

Much of our stock is vintage or pre-owned. As such, the items we sell will be one-offs or only available in small quantities. A similar product may come in stock at a later date so keep an eye on the site, follow us on Instagram to receive product updates. If a style proves popular we may be able to keep an eye out for more of them, so let us know if there is something you love!


Questions about orders

“Can I cancel my order?”

Yes, under the UK’s Distance Selling Regulations you have the right to cancel your order within 14 working days and obtain a full refund, or store credit if you prefer. Some products are excluded from this law, please read our Returns Policy for more information. Here’s how to cancel your order:

  • Please contact us as soon as possible within 14 days of receipt with the details of your order.

  • Then return the unwanted items unused, unworn, and unwashed within 30 days of receipt for a refund. Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the order is cancelled prior to dispatch.

  • Be sure to keep your proof of postage with our postcode and the date on.

  • If your item hasn’t yet been dispatched we’ll refund within 3 working days of cancellation.
    If your order was already dispatched, your refund will be processed within 3 working days from receiving your returned order.

Questions about delivery

“Lovely site and gorgeous things but do you deliver to Jersey, Channel Islands?”

Yes, we deliver internationally. To find out how much postage will be to your location click through to the Etsy product page using ‘buy on Etsy’ button and scoll down for the delivery information. Select channels islands or another delivery location from the drop-down list, the postal calculator will update with the estimated postage cost for those items. If your country is not listed please get in touch for a quote.


“WHAT IF I’M NOT IN WHEN MY ITEM IS DELIVERED?”

If you are likely to be at work when your item is due for delivery, you could choose your work address for delivery during checkout.

If you are out when an item is delivered to your home, your postman will leave you a card letting you know that a delivery has been attempted. The card should have instructions informing you on how to collect your parcel. You will have 7 days from day the card was left to re-arrange delivery or collect it from your local post depot. After this date items will automatically be returned to us. If the item is returned to us in this way, you will need to pay for re-delivery before we can send the item out again.

All UK orders are sent with Royal Mail, so if an item has not arrived as expected it’s always worth contacting your local sorting office first. If you receive no card from your postman or courier please contact us.


“I need it quicker, is there any way?”

There sure is! As standard we send everything by Signed For delivery which can take up to 5 days within the UK and maybe longer to arrive at international destinations. However, if you would prefer to have items sent next day delivery and are willing to pay for an expediated service we’ll do our best to help.

Providing it’s a weekday and you order before 12 noon (GMT), and depending on your location, we may be able to post your item out by Royal Mail Special Delivery. To arrange Special Delivery contact us before buying and we’ll add this faster shipping option to checkout. We hope that helps :)
