“Book” version of Waddington’s classic Lexicon card game. This is probably the best known of the word games that were developed during the 1920s and 1930s. Perfect parlour game entertainment for the vintage-inclined. Also looks cute on a bookshelf.

Game complete. Cards include: A-4, B-1, C-1, D-1, E-4, F-1, G-1, H-3, I-4, J-1, K-1, L-3, M-1, N-1, O-3, P-1, Q-1, R-3, S-3, T-3, U-3, V-1, W-3, X-1, Y-1, Z-1, and 1 Lexicon Card.
Three cards (A, H, E) have a small scrape to the pattern on the back, each about 16mm x 2mm. One H card has an imprinted mark on the front about 18mm x 8mm. Cards themselves otherwise in excellent condition with minimal wear.
Rule book in excellent condition with minimal wear.
Box in fair condition with moderate wear. The inner gold sleeve has 2 scraped to gold paper. The outer section has wear to edges, top front edge adrift yet the box is holding firm.
