This is the second in my new series of On Trend Vintage posts, a series created to demonstrate that you can be both ‘in season’ and vintage at the same time.
Last week I shared my top picks of pastels. This week I’m translating the catwalk’s monochrome trend to vintage. Before you get going there’s one key rule; no grey! The monochrome trend for Spring/Summer 2014 sees designers at Ralph Lauren, Diane von Furstenberg, Balenciaga, Sportmax, Missoni, Kenzo (and even queen of footballer’s wives Victoria Beckham) ditching wishy-washy greyscale in favor of high contrast black and white.
Here’s my picks of vintage finds fit for this seasons black and white trend.

1980s Black Ditsy Bowler Hat Print Jabot Blouse [sorry, this item is sold]
