42morrow BunnyKin Vest Dress4.2morrow

Founded in 2009 by fellow fashion graduates Indi, Gabriella, Sabah and Vivienne, 4.2morrow is dedicated to creating individual, conceptual yet wearable clothing. Each one of the team brings different inspiration to the design table, then they are fused to create unique and limited edition pieces any rock chic would love! The debut line includes some very unusual macabre t-shirts and dresses.

Aurora Bloom

Aurora Bloom started life in 2005 bringing a tempting range of handmade jewellery and accessories, they have now expanded their lines to include hand crocheted accessories and other little treasures and trinkets.

BannBee

Bannbee is an independent lingerie label inspired by vintage and made by hand in East London. Bannbee designer Corinne is influenced by 1950s fashion, burlesque and pin-ups of bygone eras and this is boldly reflected in the design of her hight waisted and long-line lingerie sets as well as Bannbee’s Betty Page style suspender panties. Bannbee strive to offer beautiful handmade underwear to treasure at an affordable price as an alternative to high-street mass production and the throwaway mindset.

Bbel

Using fine and sterling silver, anodised aluminium, acrylic and even recycled sheet from yogurt pots, refrigerator seals and coffee cups Bbel Designer Bethan Carr creates beautiful jewellery inspired by the elegance of the natural world; fairy-tales, folklore, symbolism, forests, birds, time and beauty. The results are glamorous yet quirky designs, aesthetically pleasing and all handmade in England.

Cloth Magpie Samphire Tweed HandbagCloth Magpie

Cloth Magpie is a brand conceived as a means for bag designer Sam Cross to revive her collection of treasured vintage fabrics. Things have been good for cloth magpie and now the brand consists of two complimentary labels; Cloth Magpie Vintage, a line produced from vintage materials from tweed to floral and Cloth Magpie a line produced from Sam’s own vintage inspired prints.

 

 

 

Crumpet & Skirt Maureen Pin-Up Greetings CardCrumpet & Skirt

London based designer Elizabeth Pinnock established Crumpet & Skirt out of a desire to produce high quality products like in the old days. Inspired by the fabulous sexiness of 1950s pin-up girls Elizabeth decided to use them in simple designs that showcase the images in the best possible way. Crumpet & Skirt products ranging from greetings cards to homeware showcase images of saucy 50s ladies, tastefully attired in vintage undies and assuming a range of coquettish poses.

Emma Brigitte London

Emma Brigitte London is all about re-using history’s beautiful vintage treasures. Her collection reflects her inspiration from all things vintage as well as her experience from tailoring on Savile Row. From recycling unique vintage patterns for fresh 1950s inspired dresses and playsuits to revamping vintage knitwear garments with signature details, Emma Brigitte London is a designer for women who love vintage but crave a crisp, fresh look.’

DOGHOUSE at London Fashion Week 2009Doghouse

Aptly named ‘the back stabbers of couture’ DOGHOUSE destroys the elitism associated with high fashion and whilst retaining its notorious show stopping style, deals a blow to well-known fashion houses. The brand new London label just recently showed its first collection at this years Alternative Fashion Week to a stunned, if not slightly scared audience!

From June 1st five limited edition killer t-shirts from the collection were featured in ‘Colours that make you look clean, designs that make you feel dirty’. Each t-shirt is numbered and personally signed by the designer.

Dynamic and fashion forward whilst retaining a love of hand-crafted ideals Harlow & Harvey’s every garment speaks of quality in craftsmanship in beautiful fabrics from Paris and London. The debut womenswear collection, inspired by the “Skin and Bone” exhibition at London’s Somerset House explores the similarities between fashion and architecture; suspension, strength and fragility. The collection consists of duchess satin, Venise lace and fringe dresses, silk separates and beautiful sequin and crystal headpieces.

Inspired by vintage, burlesque, Day of the Dead and all things cute and kitsch, Twinklebug brings us amazing handmade accessories of knit, glitter, bows & bugs. Twinklebug re-branded in 2010 as Pearls and Swine and relaunched they new website at pearlsandswine.co.uk where you can find some truly unusual handmade head wear.

Urban Cross Stitch

You heard it here first, cross-stitch is the new knitting! Urban Cross Stitch is the brainchild of London based pattern-cutter, Phil Davison. Phil was inspired to combine his new-found love of cross-stitch with his existing love of street art and popular culture, so created his own Brand.

Vintage Yum


Vintage Yum create gorgeous lingerie bags, laundry bags and accessories with Burlesque inspired details. Influences from the 1950s Rockabilly and Calendar Girls right up to the 1980s create designs that take you on a trip of Nostalgia. Their designs are handmade using vintage fabric or retro prints reminiscent of years gone by.
