White Vintage Broderie Anglaise Frilled Maxi Nightgown

White cotton maxi length collarless edge to edge negligee. A dark blue satin finish ribbon is threaded through Broderie Anglaise lace at the waist and ties at the front, additionally there is a blue ribbon bow on each shoulder. The upper front panels are decorated with Broderie Anglaise and scalloped with couched filling stitch at the edge. The deep armholes of this nightgown are finished with flutter sleeves and edged in Broderie Anglaise, as are the front edges. The long skirt of finished with a deep frilled hem. To enhance the shape of the back the waistline at the rear is gathered with elastic. The neckline plunges into a low V where the front fastens with a small cream button.
