A white boned girdle by Twilfit, a modern continuation of the Twilfit's foundations range popular in the 1950s. In mint condition and supplied in it's original packaging this boned girdle in a hard to find larger size is in mint condition. The main panels are ribbed cotton with a woven repeat pattern, and edged with firm boning encased in flat felled seams. Although it is encased and can't be seen the boning is supsected to be spiral steel boning. Panels of elastic at the sides, front and back help deliver a smooth fit and easy movement. The girdle fastens at the left side with a row of eleven large white hook and eyes. A brushed-back trim inside the top and bottom help keep the girdle in place without sticking. Four wide adjustable supsenders hang from the hem to old up your stockings.
