1950s White Cotton Keyhole Long-Line Bullet Bra

1950s white cotton long-line bullet bra. This typically 1950s panelled brassiere has circle stitched cone shaped cups and elasticated front and back panels. There is a keyhole detail at the front between the cups and picot stitching (a scalloped edge stitch) around and under the cups and along the top edge. The many panels which make up the bra are edged with flat fell seams. The cotton shoulder straps are fully adjustable and the back fastens with two rows of hook and eyes. The long-line body section of the bra drops 4 inched bellow the cups. This bra will help create the typical 1950s silhouette.

Condition: Very good condition, two small (7mm) frays on inside seams, one light mark right cup, otherwise in excellent state. All vintage nightwear and lingerie has been intensively washed and ironed before being added to the site.
