Original 1933-1935 peach Flash knitted Lastex panty girdle by Bien Jolie. This early 1930s panty girdle has stood the test of time currently being in very good condition. It is coloured peach to be inconspicuous under sheer or semi-sheer garments and has four cotton mounted suspender clips. The gusset is made from a finer stretch knit than the rest of the girdle. An advertisement by Whitehouse in the Spokane Daily Chronicle - May 17, 1932 stated that Flash was the latest Bien Jolie in corsetry design. Made is 'Lastex' and weighs next to nothing.

Care Instructions: Warm hand wash recommended but adverts from the period claim Bien Jolie girdles are durable enough for a scrub or boil wash!
Composition: Lastex.
Condition: Very good condition; there are some tiny holes in centre of the gusset all less than 1mm (see image 10), there is one 2mm hole at the rear of the gusset. The gusset has some discolouration where the fabric is lighter in places from staining or stain removal. The button part of the suspender clasps show signs of age but are still fully functional (see image 10). No other flaws.
All vintage nightwear and lingerie has been hand washed before being added to the site.
