This vintage Evans' Throat Pastilles tin produced 1902-1945 makes ideal on-the-move storage for anything from headphones to bobby pins, staples, buttons, sweeties, little make-up brushes and more. The outside has a worn golden finish with a cream printed label bearing the Evans Sons, Lescher & Webb Limited trademark, the original price of one shilling and a product description which reads:
Evans' throat Pastilles give tone to the vocal organs; they counteract huskiness and soothe the troat. Nothing thier equal in cold and chilly weather; always efficacious and reliable.
The inside is uncoloured and tarnished, the back holds together with a small bar hinge and the tin closes snuggly with a push.
