Burlesque fashion is inspired by the costumes of 19Th century burlesque performers, mid 20Th century pin-ups Betty Grable and Bettie Page and neo-burlesque performers of today, the most well know of which being Dita Von Teese. Burlesque fashion is scanty, decedent and theatrical. It's all about pencil skirts, heels and cinched waists, red lipstick, rhinestones and vintage lingerie ...and not forgetting those notorious pasties!
